Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina, Mountain Valley Cabins is near Max Patch and the Appalachian Trail in Madison County, North Carolina, surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and less than one hour from the Biltmore Estate.
The Blue Ridge Pkwy, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee National Forest, Cataloochee, and the City of Asheville are all close by, as well as the smaller mountain towns of Marshall, Waynesville, and Weaverville.
For an unforgettable trip, the nearby town of Hot Springs, North Carolina, is a mountain paradise made famous by the naturally hot mineral water springs found more than two centuries ago where the French Broad River and Spring Creek intersect.
Today, Hot Springs (population 530) is a popular yet secluded hideaway many visit for a great mountain vacation experience. The Appalachian Trail IS the sidewalk through town. There are a few restaurants, a couple of eclectic shops, and an old family hardware store--but you won't find a traffic light, fast-food restaurant, or interstate highway within a 45-minute drive.
Our cabins are perched on a knoll, surrounded by higher elevation mountains and forest land, overlooking an old farm valley and rushing Spring Creek. Each cabin has a 2-person hot tub with seasonal views. The spacious and comfortable single-story cabins have an open-concept living/dining area, a well-equipped kitchen, cathedral ceilings, and wood floors. The cabins include a large bedroom with a king-size bed and a separate bathroom with a shower. You will also enjoy the front and back covered porches with rocking chairs.
